Meet Allison

Welcome to my website!! So here is everything you need to know about me!
It has been a long and winding road on the path to becoming a Virtual Assistant. I studied Journalism and Public Relations
in college, and have always loved writing and working with people.
At the start of my career, I spent four years working for a training company, learning the art of business
development, executive support and event management as we took our training on the road and traveled the country.
I loved getting into the details of event planning and the relationship-building of business development, and merged those
two passions into my next career move into event management. I spent five years as a wedding and event planner, helping
brides plan the most important day of their lives, and helping corporations and charities plan meetings and events. It was
such a whirlwind of activity and watching the details of the events unfold and come to life was amazing!
In 2005, I made the best career move of all, and became a mom. After having my son, my priorities changed and I needed
a career with regular hours that would allow me to devote more time to my family, so I moved back to the corporate world
and have spent the last nine years supporting executives, coordinating sales teams, and managing marketing programs
through collateral, web, and social media, just to name a few.
Being a virtual assistant combines the things I loved in each career experience into one perfect job. I thrive in partnerships
where we are working toward a common goal. I love to solve problems and help people accomplish their goals by taking care of the details to free up their time to do whatever it is that will move them forward in life.  It's a win-win: doing what I love, having a life that I own, and helping others have the same! I love to laugh and have a good time, and think we can do that even while we work!
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, trying new recipes, and volunteering at school and in the community.
